Okay, I’ve had enough. This morning, I finally sent a Reconsideration request to Google. I just hope that we’re one of the lucky few to get an actual reply, because I’d really like to know what’s been going on with Google and our site.
If you haven’t been keeping up with this saga, it all boils [...]

There may be plugins for these, but I don’t want plugins. I want something official (compatible, checked for bugs by the official WordPress team).
So, here’s what I want:
From the WordPress people…
In the Dashboard, I need to select multiple posts and change their categories. Or, at the very least, each post should have a field where [...]

I hate it when people steal my content. And, I especially hate it when the content that you stole from me and put on your site gets indexed in Google, but the original content from my site does not! That’s been happening at one of my sites.
The thing that gets to me the most [...]

Before you say something, let me just remind you that I said I wasn’t going to use WordPress for my upcoming projects. I’m still using webmastering101.com because they let me promote my work on their site and this is actually my only blog. Now that that’s covered…

I noticed that they hit two of my blogs at the same time-literally. I found that odd. They’re completely unrelated, not linked in any way to one another, and are one separate domains.
The IP addresses that hit the blogs are 64.41.145.90 and 64.41.145.100

Since Google is showing me no love these days (deindexing 80% of my sites, only indexing at a rate of about 4% of what it used to each day, and sometimes just not showing up to my sites period), it’s time to suck up to the two search engines that most webmasters have ignored for [...]

I wish that advertisers like AdSense and Adbrite would offer that option to publishers.
I like my ads to match my site’s color scheme. With text ads, I have no problem doing this, but with image ads that’s a different story. The only time I’m able to get the ads to match the site is [...]

First it loves me, then it hates me. As you probably already know, I’ve lately Googlebot has had a love-hate relationship with my sites. First, my sites are being indexed left and right. Then, last week, Google decided to index just two or three pages a day from each of my sites. Now, today, a [...]
