Don’t be stupid! Don’t put your keyboard in the dishwasher - or the oven!
Okay, seriously people. Don’t put your keyboard in the dishwasher, or the oven! I shouldn’t have to tell you this, but apparently some people have done this and are telling the world that it worked. While putting your keyboard in the dishwasher may actually clean that bad boy, you’re damaging the keyboard. And, while putting your keyboard in the oven may dry it sooner than air drying will - say it with me people - you’re damaging the keyboard.

Why would anyone even think about doing either of these things, let alone follow through with them? I don’t get it. My computer monitor has a little dust on it. Should I clean it in the dishwasher and dry it in the oven? Of course not. And, why? Because I don’t want to damage whatever it is inside that makes it work! What’s wrong with you people??????

I know that sounds stupid, but I’ve read that you can.

I see you point about it ruining the keyboard, but how is that any different from spilling drinks on the keyboard?
