Here’s another wishlist for you developers at WordPress… and WordPress MU

There may be plugins for these, but I don’t want plugins. I want something official (compatible, checked for bugs by the official WordPress team).

So, here’s what I want:

From the WordPress people…
In the Dashboard, I need to select multiple posts and change their categories. Or, at the very least, each post should have a field where you can change its category using Ajax or something. The point is that I don’t want to click on a post to get to the full editing page, then change the category, then go back to the Manage Posts page, and repeat the entire process for each post that I want to change the category for. It took forever to get the mass delete feature to work, so I’m not going to hold my breath on this one.

From the WordPress MU people…
Tried to edit a plugin as a user and couldn’t. Seriously thinking about just switching to multiple installs of WordPress, especially since lunabyte from the WPMU forums has a year-old sticky post trying to talk users out of going with WP MU.
