Hmm. I wonder how Ping-O-Matic treats pings from multi-blog sites

You know, like WordPress MU? I wonder if domain.com/blog-1 and domain.com/blog-2 post at the same time or within a few minutes of each other if Ping-O-Matic will treat it as a multiple ping. I think I will test that out.

If someone else wants to test it before I get a chance to, here’s what you should do to test it:

  1. Publish a post in your dashboard for one of the blogs.
  2. For the other blog, just go to Ping-O-Matic’s site to have it pinged.

If Ping-O-Matic gives you a ’slow down cowboy’ message, then it probably is recognizing the blogs as one big blog. The reason I said ‘probably’ is because I sometimes get this message, even when I haven’t published a post in at least an hour.
